Portfolio, Complete Projects

During certain classes, our instructor would have us create a homepage where we would complete homework assignments and use our coding skills to build an “actual” website. These were our homepages, and one of my favorites was the one I created for my JavaScript class.

Admittedly, coding can be quite tedious. There can be so much to write, so much to remember for future projects, and so many new coding systems and rules coming out seemingly every day. However, it was projects like these that, once completed, made it all worth it. Seeing your work put to the test and succeed is such an amazing feeling for any new Web Developer.

This website, while perhaps not the most professional, showcases all of my work throughout the JavaScript semester. The row of images is actually a “carousel.” It can rotate through different images on its own, or it can be controlled using the “Previous” and “Next” buttons. In the textbox below the Superman text, you can type whatever you want, and after refreshing the page, that text will appear in Superman’s place. The “Add To Do” button adds list items to the list above. Finally, upon each refresh, a new Pokémon and its name will appear below.
